I knew the Twins didn't have it in them; but, even so, I didn't imagine they'd let 13 baserunners go to waste in a 1-0 loss. When you play a team like the Royals, aren't *they* supposed to be the ones who invent new ways to lose?
Man, that really sucked. Is this a record for baserunners in a 9-inning shutout?
Moss informed me that it was a team record for hits in a shutout.
This game is the encapsulization of the season.
