SBG Nation Provides Your Daily Source for Half-Baked Crap

Hey Moss, What’s UP?

Thought you'd like to comment on this tidbit from the Strib:

A quick release. The dangerously flammable shooting touch. An occasionally galling lack of conscience in his shot selection. And a seat on the bench at tipoff.

A short inventory reveals that Timberwolves guard Troy Hudson has most of the makings of an NBA Sixth Man award candidate.

Before you go ballistic, consider this surprising factoid:

Over the past five games (four of them victories), Hudson has averaged 14.8 points and made 12 of his 22 three-point attempts. He is the only Wolves player, in plus/minus ratings, to be in the black in each of the five, with a total for that span of plus-49. In other words, his team has outscored opponents by 49 points when Hudson has been in the five games.

I find it hard to believe, given his performance last season, that he could possibly string together five games with such plus/minus numbers. I can hear Moss now. Trade him!

It's too late now. 1-7, 3 pts., 2 turnovers. The window has closed.
