Through four innings, Batista has fielded five balls. No, um, safeties for the Halos so far.

I like that the first ball he showed range on he threw away. Although he did actually move to the side on a later grounder.
Joe Mauer is clearly the reason the Twins are in fourth.

God, we miss Henry Blanco.
The first "hit" is a chopper to the Statue who throws out the runner, only to have him called safe.
That "hit" was probably a good thing. Liriano is d-u-n right now. Gardy would have had to take him out fairly soon, no-hitter or not-no-hitter.
I thought, "Maybe Gardy should take him out for the Vlad at bat." They almost paid dearly for that non-move.
Next time anyone says that Nathan struggles whenever it's not a save situation, remember to add this game (3 batters faced, 3 strikeouts) to the number of non-save situations Nathan has appeared in.
Moss might have pulled Liriano for the Vlad AB also. But then, on second thought, Vlad swings at anything so maybe a little wildness isn't a bad thing, right? True to form, he swung at every pitch. The one he drove really wasn't a good pitch to hit, but he's Vlad. And Kubel ran it down.
So maybe the 'tool did the right thing by letting him finish the inning.
Note: Vlad's drive in the 6th would have been an RBI double off the base of the wall if Stewart had been in LF.
