Cup of Coffee Wolves lose again by 22, Kevin Love down to 17 minutes. This is the worst possible situation for the Wolves. They are driving what is left of their fan base with a tremendous stretch of terrible basketball. Their best, or second-best, player has checked out and is getting buried on the bench. Mark Cuban makes life more interesting, and for that, I salute him. Anointing Bill Simmons as his new hero might be a bit overboard, though.
It's kind of weird, this doesn't surprise me coming out of Cuban, but could you imagine if Glen Taylor did this? Or if Carl Pohlad had a blog and claimed Jim Caple as his new hero? I think if I saw that I'd start looking for other signs of a coming apocalypse.
It is unfortunate that Cuban doesn't believe in apostrophes, as it makes his writing look less educated. Looking at some previous entries, I enjoyed this bit:
