It just doesn't get anymore PC than that.
So, the conventional wisdom going into today's game was that Verlander is way better than Reyes, right?

The difference between Reyes and Verlander was almost entirely in that HR rate. I'm not sure what the new Busch is playing like, but it's not nearly as big as Comerica, so one could more or less argue that the pitching matchup was pretty close going into the game.
