[...] He never played for the Yankees, but from what I’ve just seen pitcher Juan Berenguer would have been a hit in New York. If you have three minutes to kill, please check out this 1987 music video posted on StickandBallGuy.com (and sent to me by my friend Jon). Click here. [...]

Writing the Gaetti thing brought up a lot of memories, which will be contined as we move up the list. 1987 was a helluva fun time.

My memory may be a bit hazy, but I seem to recall Juan pitching poorly in a particular game in 1987. In an interview after the game, he said "No talk. I pitch crap. No talk."

You've gotta love an athlete who tells it like it is.

He was one of my favorites from that magical 1987 team. I probably listened to 120 of their games that season out here in western South Dakota. The AM radio station was almost incoherent after sundown, so you really had to listen intently.

The write-up about Gaetti - and this goofy video - have me waxing nostalgic this morning. I've actually had goosebumps more than once. Thanks SBG.

Actually, I was working on something to make it easy for anyone to plug the rally cap into a LTE, but it didn't work.

Wow. I don't suppose there was ever a video for the "Drive Time '91" (or whatever it was) song, was there? I heard it so much back then that I still have a good portion of the lyrics memorized.

Quality material. Puts the Bearsss' Super Bowl Shuffle to shame.

I especially enjoyed all the big hair on the dancin' girls.

I wonder how many instruments Prince played on the soundtrack?

and it was about 3min too long?!

But it was only 3 min long?! Oh. I get it.

I was just curious if the cats groovin in the background were fellow players, but didn't recognize anyone.

Can I just say that someone spent way too much money on that, and it was about 3min too long?!
