The Crawlin' King Snake. Saw him at Wilebsky's (later known as the Blue's Saloon)in '84. Even though he played less than half of the show, he came out for 3 or 4 songs towards the end of his band's two sets, he absolutely killed! That menacing guitar rumble paired with his distictive Kool and bourbon cured voice was a revelation to a 21 year old college kid. Boogie chillun, indeed.
