Gotta say I prefer the post-prison output of Steve Earle. Often when musicians sober up and/or quit using drugs, their muse suffers. That's not the case here. He just seems to get better. Of course not too many musicians do hard time in prison, either. Earle credits prison for saving his life.
Watch as "the clean and sober" Steve Earle reduces grown men to tears with this version of Ft. Worth Blues.
"Copperhead Road"; or, Earle's Bryan Adams Phase.
