Slowey is quickly becoming this year's Pat Neshek - a thoughtful, interesting interview every time. Not quite so quirky, maybe, but he always gives you a real answer rather than just the company line.
I was impressed - Seth even got a question for Slowey from Rich Lederer from Baseball Analysts. I love that site. Seth continues to line up some pretty impressive interviews - the guy has contacts all through the minors, it seems.
Seth has great access to these guys because he's shown interest and been interviewing them since they've joined the organization. When you're an A-baller and one of the flagship Twins blogs wants to interview you, I'm sure you remember it.
I'd say that Seth covers the organization top-to-bottom better than anyone does for any other organization, but then I've never looked and if there was a doppelblogger for any other team, it would probably bore me to tears half the time.
wow, AMR... thanks! That was nice. I've been pretty lucky. I like to think that I bring the minor leaguers a little recognition. Those guys are all working really hard, trying to get to where the guys that get the glory are. It's a lot of work that doesn't get recognized. So, if I can give them 2 minutes, and get their names out there, I am more than happy to. Anyway, there should be a few more coming in the very near future.
Thanks,
Seth
You are the man, Seth.
