Personal notes:
-
Sporting News is a much better mag than ESPN The Magazine could ever hope to be. Even better if the NASCAR pages were in a pullout section (that could be removed and recycled).

I know the image above is kinda hard to see at it's shrunk size, so I zoomed in on the top corner. Who did this?! Joe might not have
many friends here, but we're going to start revoking SBG Library cards if this keeps up.
Please drop an email to SBGLibrary (at) hotmail (dot) com if you have a suggestion or a submission for the SBG Library.

Why is there a crutch on the cover? or is that more evidence of library hooliganism?
Tell you the truth, I'm not sure WHY that crutch is there. And I'm in Dallas area right now, so I won't be able to look it up, either -- sorry.
The way I read that corner: "The Cubs" by Joe Buck (sigh)
I don't know if that's really a compliment. Being a longtime reader, I think they've slipped enough to make it a fair statement, though.
NASCAR jokes are just plain hilarious. Yeehaw... Yawn.
