Cup of CoffeeWolves lose again by 22, Kevin Love down to 17 minutes. This is the worst possible situation for the Wolves. They are driving what is left of their fan base with a tremendous stretch of terrible basketball. Their best, or second-best, player has checked out and is getting buried on the bench. I doubt that Love is in their long term plans. How's that O.J. Mayo deal looking now? Citizens Online38 Users Online WGOM Sign InLog InRetired WGOM Jokes

Like Tyner would have done better...
As a left-handed hitter, Tyner would've been hit by that pitch, loading the bases with two outs.
Or scoring a run had Morneau been "walked"
That was a close second for "Great Moments in Enhanced Gameday History" today.
Considering the Insanity was 0-3 today, Tyner could not have done any worse. And that makes me want to cry a little bit.
On reflection, Can we trade RonDL to get Cirillo back?
We should have stopped The Insanity.
But Jeff Cirillo's health was too unreliable.
LOL on the graphic. Through the tears.
How many times can a guy be expected to not swing at the same pitch way out of the strikezone? He didn't swing at it three times in that at-bat. What do you guys want?
I actually thought RonDL would either be good or on the DL this year and would be worth it. He's been sucking up a lot of roster-days while sucking at the plate when called to bat. Cirillo didn't want to play much, but at least he was defensively flexible.
Oh well, I'm sure a few days in the outfield will help.
I thought that perhaps the Twins had learned their lesson that Rondell is only a good hitter when he is healthy. I don't care so much about the money--I don't think it was a terribly unreasonable gamble--but playing Rondell when they know he isn't 100% is a waste of time.
Oh well, I’m sure a few days in the outfield will help.
Sadly, the only way I see that helping is if he manages to put himself on the DL again.
They tell me he can hit.

Was it a Gyroball? Because damn!
a reaction to a coworker after seeing this
'J*&*s Flippin C*&*&t! that's awful!'
lol
My only question is, how did he lay off that fourth pitch?
I posted this in CoC a few minutes ago, but I'm copying it here to catch as many citizens as possible:
I have a request for the Nation. Could everyone willing to help out email me with any information about trade targets and free agents that the Twins did not make a move on based on intangibles like character, clubhouse reputation, etc. over the past couple of years? Especially if they could have helped out this pitiful offense. Shea Hillenbrand and Dmitri Young come to mind this year. Frank Thomas last year. Any others that the Nation can come up with will be most helpful. Just email me at twayn77 at yahoo dot com. Many thanks!
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. In this case, it's quite true.
Seems to me a great majority of those words are four letters long.
