SBG Nation Convention

What's a Nation without a convention? We need to come together, set aside our differences, and work toward a common goal! I say that goal should be to watch, in person, the September 22nd game against the Chicago White Sox. It is an 11:10 AM start to accommodate the Goofer game that day. I like these late season morning games. If we can get a crowd together, we'll make this a tradition (until the new stadium ends the Saturday morning games).
I talked to Seth Stohs and he indicated that he might be able to make it. A couple of people have already expressed some interest. Citizens, it's time to stand up and be counted. I'm thinking that those who want to can show up at Hubert's in the morning for a little breakfast -- you know, so that we can talk Twins over a cup of coffee. Then, we can amble over to the game, cheer for the good guys, see who's got good oral snark skills and who's hiding behind their keyboards.
If you are interested, send me an email at stickandballguy at hotmail dot com. Also, peer pressure should be applied here to those who may not be committed to the cause.
Stand up and be counted!

Moss is interested in bringing Moss Jr. However, Mrs. Moss is due on the 23rd so we'll have to wait and see!
Wow, that's coming up fast! Check out BabySBG's blog, she's been posting this week.
Just looked at it this morning. What a cutie!
Also, nice house! How does it compare to the one you had found earlier??
This house is smaller, newer, and on a less traveled street. They both have four bedrooms -- the other one had them on one level, this has three up and one down. The other one was a two story with finished basement, this one is multi-level with an unfinished basement. The other one was fancier and had a beautiful four season porch. This one is very nice, though, we are happy with it. And, I'll have a lot more money in pocket every month after the mortgage is paid.
You can add on a 4-season porch with that extra change.
I'll probably be going to that game anyways, bringing my 4 year old daughter, CER.
Need to see for sure though, Actuarial Education things may get in the way.
Unfortunately my wife is working that weekend, so I'm unable to make the trip.
I'll have a better handle on my schedule once classes start, but early on in the semester is generally the best time for a travel weekend.
I'm a first time poster here but a long time reader of the site.
I'm a regular over at BattleYourTailOff.com, but I saw the post about getting some Twin fans together, and I had to jump all over that.
I will probably be making it. Good to finally be aboard here!
Welcome!
I would love to make it, but I'm gonna be pretty far away. I will be there in spirit, though. Blame Kubel for me!
I rarely make it to the Twin Cities anyway, but that day is when my niece is getting married, so it's out of the question. Along with New Guy, I will be with you in spirit, and am certain you will be having a better time than I will.
As, by then, the game probably won't matter, your voices should stand out above the crowd. Make plenty of snarky comments for us.
Alas, I'll be in Seattle then. It sounds like a great idea, though.
1987 Bobblehead Set auction???? Do it for the Children, SBG!
I can probably make it. What kind of seats are you thinking about getting? General admission?
Probably. Or upper deck reserved.
I want in.
