Reggie! Reggie! Reggie!

Reggie Miller comes to his senses and decides to stay retired. I've always liked Reggie -- and his Knick-killing was fun to watch. He's also struck me as a guy who really has a solid head on his shoulders. I enjoy his work on TNT and am glad he'll be calling the games instead of trying to play in them.

As a life-long Pacers fan, at least for now (ugly squad right now), I am glad he won't be playing for another team. He WAS the Pacers from the late-80s until his retirement and it just seems wrong, from a fan's perspective, to think of him suiting up for another franchise.

A another life-time Pacers fan I too am glad Reggie won't be wearing another jersey. Reggie played for the Pacers almost my entire life. He was drafted when I was like 7 months old. Until his retirement, I'd never known him not to be there. I really don't know how well I would have handled him playing for someone else. Not well, I imagine.
