Can I get a cup of hot chocolate from that pot in the back?

So, what's up with Morneau the last 1-½ months? Not something that a day off will take care of, I'm sure.

This may have been mentioned somewhere, because I haven't been around much (and may not be until later in the week), but the Twins have called up Kevin Slowey and Nick Blackburn.

Hey Stick- minor formatting request:

When you resize (smaller) the entire Firefox frame, the 'Reply to this LTE' link on the right goes out of the frame - would be nice if it stayed in alignment with the right border.

Thanks,

Big news out of MLS:

Real Salt Lake has won two games in a row, doubling their win total to 4. 3-1 over KC and 2-1 over the Galaxy. The big news is His Holiness Eddie Pope scored the game winner for RSL over LA.

Some might say the phrase "big news out of MLS" is a contradiction in terms.

Andrew replied on September 3, 2007 at 7:37:07 pm

It's not really big news. I was just excited Eddie Pope scored the game winner. Over the Galaxy no less.

Nick Punto, since Sep. 1 2006, is getting on base at a lovely .279 clip and slugging a robust .261. By Moss' California math, that adds up to an OPS of .540.

Yet, the skipper saw fit to give him 594 PA in that span.
