Great Moments in Enhanced Gameday History - 5 Oct. 2007, inning 10

October 5th, 2007 by Rhubarb_Runner

Yankees/Indians Gameday

One heck of an AB by Grady...

pitch 1: swinging strike
...
pitch 13: swinging strike

All other pitches were a ball or fouled off.  AB ends with a swinging strike passed ball, Sizemore taking first on the play, only to be stranded at 3B when Rivera "slams the door".  Game continues into the 11th...

Wow. I didn't realize that was a 13 pitch at bat.

I was watching Olbermann and missed this at bat. I don't regret the decision to watch Keith, but this must have been highly entertaining.

and wow. Mariano apparently has earned the inside "part" of the plate.

Greatest non-Jeter strikeout in MLB history.

I'm gonna go with Bob Welch's strikeout of Reggie Jackson in Game 2 of the 1978 World Series.

I meant from the batter's point of view.
