In a way, it makes sense because the big money teams do have prospects to deal, but I really thought the Twins could, at minimal cost, upgrade the gigantic holes in the lineup to replacement level or slightly above, and then try to ride Santana/Liriano/Nathan/Neshek/Mauer/Morneau/Cuddyer to victory. I don't know.
