No fears; Francisco Liriano used his entire repertoire without any hassle
The Dominican pitcher Francisco Liriano knows how important it is for the Minnesota Twins in 2008.
That is why we work hard to achieve a full recovery.
According to reports on Sunday the website of Minnesota, Liriano has been throwing without restrictions.
He has thrown bullpen, hitters, has used his line, change and slider without problems.
All eyes will be on him in the fields of training, because it is seen as a substitute for Johan Santana.
Liriano comes from a Tommy John operation on the elbow.
Liriano was unbelievably good in 2006, posting a 2.57 xFIP (almost a full run better than Santana's league-leading 3.42 xFIP.) I doubt he'll be able to give the Twins more than 160 IP this year, but it'll be a lot of fun to have him back if he's anywhere near where he was before.
~18 days until pitchers and catchers report to the fields of training.

Francisco Liriano has the Minnesota Twins hopes attached onto him.

Sounds like a good site.
One thing that was just awesome about the 2006 season is that the Twins had the CY winner, and for about 2 months, he was the second-best pitcher on the team. Had Liriano finished the season pitching as he had before the injury, I think he would have had my vote for CY. (Not to mention ROY.)
The statement that Liriano "has used his line" could mean any number of things.
