Wowza. Big, bluesy voice when she's singing, toy girly voice when she's talking.

Was this too bluesy for The Target Demographic, or was he just too busy layin' on th' hands today?

Hey! Get off Padre's back, man!

(That's a beautiful green Telecaster she's wielding...)

Quite a few autographs on that thing. Gotta love a woman with a guitar like that.

I did note in her solo (at about 2:00) that she could use a little more feel. Yep, she played the notes, but I think it she needs to make it sound a little smoother. /nitpicking

Nice voice, I like her.

I did have a very busy day yesterday. Service at 9:30, service at 11:00 (including a baptism), confirmation class at 12:15, then over to the baptizee's family's house for a late Sunday dinner. Plus it was my church's turn to host the community Lenten service Sunday night.

I liked the song fine. While I have nothing against her singing, my favorite part was the piano solo in the middle. That guy can play.

One of my all-time favorites. I saw her in an outdoor concert this summer, in the rain, and she was absolutely amazing. Just an incredible voice. And yeah, after every song, where she belted it out with all that power, she'd let out a little "thank you" in this mouse-like whimper.

Her husband is Derek Trucks, who's considered an elite guitar player and tours with the Allman Brothers.
