The problem with getting your info only on the internet is that items on the internet are not true sometimes. Like the email going around saying Barack Obama is a Muslim.
And if you get your info only from blogs, what political blogs seem to do is take newspaper articles (the old media) and cherry pick the stuff that the blog author agrees with and twists and turns that into a veiw point. How many political blogs out there do actual reporting? Very few that I have found. its just read something, post a link and make a comment
I should note that my comment refers to blogs, because the article linked doesnt really say what 'news sources on the internet' means. It could mean just going to a newspapers website and reading there
Isn't that the way to go, though? If I go to the Druge Report, DailyKos, Cato @ Liberty, Pandagon, etc I know where everyone stands. You don't have people pretending to be objective. The papers have far superior fact-checking standards that they usually follow, but why not let the old medium shrink up into fact collecting and open up the floodgates of analysis?
