Mugshot Purgatory: New Faces #1

Now on to the current Twins (and NRITs). This year's crop looks a bit like the KC 07s, without the sunset. Cool and soft.
Two big trades over the winter resulted in a bunch of new faces over here.
Trade #1 saw Garza and Bart go to Tuberculosis for Delmon Young, Brendan Harris, and Jason Pridie.

Don't know what's up with Delmon's photo. It's not a photoshop of his '06 or '07 TB shots, but it looks like none of the other Twins Mugs. I like Pridie more now that I know he cares so little about looking clean for photo day.
Trade #2 saw Johan leave and brought four players: Carlos Gomez, Phillip Humber, Kevin Mulvey, and Deolis Guerra.

Have you seen that MLB has put the media guides online for each team, including mugshots (which also have the full body shots available)? However, the Twins media guide has the 2007 mugshots.
Full body shots? So, the guides would have to be in folio format, at least for guys like Livan....

No neck beard, so I suspect that this may in fact be Pridie "looking clean".

Something isn't right about Mulvey's eyebrows.
Also, GoGomez looks like a deer in the headlights. Which makes the mugshot appropriate for this year, since that's what he'll look like staring down the barrel of many major league fastballs this summer.
Reusse said on his radio show last week (or maybe the week before) that Gomez will win you a game a week. My thought was, yeah, and how many is he going to lose?
Gomez is going to be worth 24 wins all by himself? Has anyone started to think about what we're going to put on his plaque in Cooperstown?
I already have spaces cleared on my shelf for the balls from his 500th homerun and 3,000th hit. I might clear another space for the game ball from his 300th win, but I'm not entirely convinced that the stupid Twins will let him start pitching early enough to make it to 300 wins.
How about "the best player of all time"?
That would work.
