Not really surprising to see Casilla get sent to Rochester. I hope he gets it together there.
I guess the Twins didn't much like what they saw with Casilla, too:
I guess Casilla wasn't around for the Castro days--fancy is not what the Twins value in fielding.
Fundamentals, my boy. Stick to the fundamentals. I still can't figure out Casilla. He's got the physical tools to succeed, but he just seems to be a bit of a basket case when it comes to the mental part of the game.
Usually I figure that, by and large, there aren't too many ballplayers out there who are so clueless that it really kills their value, but Casilla might just be one of those guys.
Lew hung out in that playground from time to time.
