In retrospect, that would have been a fun way to get Nathan some work in today. Have him pitch the first--maybe a batter or two in the second if the platoon matchups worked out right, and then have Perkins come in later. Strategically, you could maybe leverage a couple of platoon matchups out of the deal, and maybe it would just be kind of fun.
