Bonds trying to earn some brownie points

The discussion has been hashed out before, but where would he play? No NL team would take him because he has no range in the outfield. Teams in the AL seem to be set at DH or are playing young people. And then theres that whole Grand Jury thing

His trial will not start until 2009. He's doing this to prove his collusion case. He's basically willing to play for nothing. And no one will take him????

Seems to me the BoSox and Clevelands lost a big-name DH to injury.
Thome's having an off year in Chicago (and so is Paulie)

If the Twins can keep winning up the the ASG, I could see Bonds as an improvement over Delmon.
(Does Delmon have options left?)
