Ex-Allina doc has sex with patients, loses license

Just down the road from our house in Eagan. Doc gave one of his clients an STD and then treated her for it. He carried on with one patient for 20 years and gave her narcotics for no apparent reason (and kept that off of her medical records). How nice. And of course, the Strib commenters chime in. Here's a sample:
Obviously these women enjoyed it, or at least didn't mind. If they had a problem with it, all they had to do was switch clinics! I understand why he is in trouble, but really...why?!? If they were 2 consenting parties, what is the big deal?? Why are American's so afraid of sex!?
Hell yeah, what's the big deal?

SBG, you didn't dig far enough into the comments of this story, else you would have found this gem:
That's just... wow.
They call me Dr. Love
(calling Dr. Love)
Paging Dr. Saltalamacchia.
ok, this post (or rather, the tags) was just a naked grab for more readership.
Ugh, but could you live with yourself?
This was supposed to be lower. Ugh.
I just used "ugh" in consecutive posts. Grrrrr.
Ugh.
Exactly.
I think the WGOM should have a "Strib comment of the day" widgit that shows the most ridiculous comment found that day. It would be like what Deadspin does with the ESPN comments.
Or, if not, can I volunteer to write some sort of "This Week in Strib Comments" article?
Do it, man. It'll be huge!
(seriously.)
As long as I'm not the sorry SOB who has to slog thru the Strib comments, sure, why not?
Go ahead, but be advised that it's your IQ that's being endangered.
Doc gave one of his clients an STD and then treated her for it.
Now that's what I call vertical integration! Get your STD and treatment from the same place. You can't beat that for convenience.
To save time, he could give his patients an injection right after the, uh, injection.
Hey-oh!
