Bonds among hot topics at Yankees’ meetings

Pretty much a non-story, I know, but I'd love it if Bonds ends up wearing pinstripes.
High-ranking Yankees officials gathered for meetings at their spring training complex Thursday, a day off for the team before it begins an important three-game series Friday night in Boston.
Missing injured sluggers Hideki Matsui and Jorge Posada, the Yankees discussed ways to improve for the stretch run as next Thursday's trade deadline approaches. After a three-hour meeting, co-chairman Hank Steinbrenner confirmed that one of the topics was the indicted home run king.
How much of a nightmare would it be for Bud Selig if Bonds suits up for MLB's marquee franchise?

I think that Hank was talking about Bonds coming to the Yanks, not sending him to the BoSox.
I don't expect it to happen, but if any team was to sign Bonds, it would be the Yankees. There are many things you can say about the Steinbrenners, old and young, but there is no doubt that winning is their number one priority.
