Great Moments in Enhanced Gameday History - 10 Aug 2008, inning 7

Posted by Rhubarb_Runner on Sunday, August 10th, 2008 at 4:03 pm

Light Rail sits at 101 pitches and attempts to get the 3rd out of the inning, up by two with a runner at 2nd base and Mitch Maier at bat...

After getting a called strike on the first pitch, Maier fouls the next eight before Mauer catches a foul tip on the 10th pitch, and Baker returns to the dugout with 112 pitches and a two run lead preserved to finish a fine 7-inning outing.
