Bow Wow Wow - C30, C60, C90 Go

So my video yesterday was a couple of teen girls, and I thought why not continue that trend? Lead singer Annabella Lwin was only 15 when this song was released in 1980! Music piracy was a little different back then.

The live video had embedding disabled, so I had to switch it to the music video. Here is the live version.

Are you kidding, New Guy? I loved Bow Wow Wow.

and my testoterone-poisoned, freshman college mind really appreciated their first LP album cover.

Who knew that it actually was High Art?

I really must apologize once more for confusing you with Rhubarb.

And jeez, how did they ever get away with that cover, even for a second? She was 15!

Me. ;)
A couple of things: I saw these guys back in '82. The entire band sported mohawks, including young Annabel. They played a short set, everything sounded exactly the same. Tribal drums, Bo Diddley guitar, and girlish shouts. Still, it was kinda fun, as spectacle. They had their 15 minutes of fame.

The infamous Malcolm McLaren was their manager, so that cover should probably considered "tasteful" for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried something less savory, first.

There was an old SNL bit with Dan Akroyd called E. Buzz Miller on Art. He showed a slide of Manet's Luncheon, pointed out that it was a couple of guys on a picnic--with a naked broad. He paused a beat, then added, "Bon appetit, fellas."
