I remember looking out of a broken living room window and seeing a smashed, smoldering television set on the ground below and thinking how odd that was. Standing outside the Metrodome with a can of spray paint in my hand. Frantic 411 calls. Something about Ron Gardenhire having an unlisted phone number. Passers-by backing away as I try to warn them that aliens have abducted Joe Nathan and replaced him with a pod person. A high speed chase on I-94. Running down Nicollet Mall in just my sneakers, swinging a Louisville Slugger, shouting "Naked batting practice will save us!" The sound of footsteps behind me getting closer and closer. My back pressed against a chain link fence. Tasers. The right to remain silent. Voluntary commitment in lieu of criminal charges. We're still trying to piece it all together.
