    It's a losing proposition trying to cover Hendrix. Stevie Ray and Clapton have done nice interpretations, but they can't top the originals. No one will. And certainly not this guy. To take a signature Jimi piece and stretch it to over 3 times it's original length involves some serious hubris. Sorry, Monte, I'm not impressed. Jimi had more flair in his right pinkie than you have in your entire, misshapen body.

      different strokes. I enjoyed it. And apparently a lot of people like his work.

      Plus, he looks like one of my former graduate students (a nice Nord duhcoatuh boy). So he's got that going for him.

  • He's obviously a very talented guitar player, but Little Wing just is not an acoustic number in my mind.
