When asked to name the ten most influential guitarists of the 20th century, Chet Atkins placed Django Reinhardt at the top. He ranked himself fifth.

Oh, sure. I finally play something that should be right in Jeff A's wheelhouse, and he's too busy jacking up his comment total in the playoff threads to even notice. ;)

In addition to Atkins, Reinhardt's influence can be heard in everyone from Bob Wills Texas Playboys, all the way through Willie Nelson's graceful finger-picking.

I was so stunned that there was actual music in this feature two days in a row that I didn't know what to say.

Seriously, this was really nice. It's a style of music you don't hear very often any more, but I really enjoy it.
