To an impressionable young kid, this was the ultimate R&R PSA about joining a band. The former Free and Bad Company vocalist in Germany, 1993.
RIP PMM

There aren't too many songs that classic rock radio plays that I haven't gotten sick of. This would be one of the few. Very nice, low-key version of it--just two guitars and vox.
ok, I'll bite. Who's PMM?
My older brother. Not a tragic rock and roller but a talented man who was taken too soon. He would've been 58.
(Free's Fire and Water was a favorite of his in back in college.)
ahh. thanks, E-6. It's good to remember things. And my condolences, if 4 years late.
Good one.
dont want to be a grammar nazi (I am far from perfect), but his name is Paul Rodgers
cool version of this song.
thier first album (self titled), man what a monster album. Just about every song is a staple on Classic Rock radio
and if memory serves me right, Rodgers is now lead vocals for Queen
fixed
Former Free guitarist Paul Kossoff was himself a shooting star. He died at age 25, the year after this was released. Here's Free playing their signature song.
