Television's debut, Marquee Moon, is one of the greatest rock records of all time. Over thirty years after it's release, it still sounds fresh.

"Foxhole" is from Television's second record, Adventure--a very good album, but no Marquee Moon. Yesterday's artist--Richard Hell--was the band's original bassist, and versions of "Blank Generation" appear on early bootlegs and the group's original demo.
A few other tidbits:
-The band's first demo was produced by Brian Eno.
-Television was the first musical act to be booked at CBGB's.
-Band members constructed the original stage at that club.
-Tom Verlaine's girlfriend at the time was Patti Smith.
-They sound nothing like Enya.
