I stopped following at some point, but NESN basically treated it as a 3-hour commercial for the Red Sox. I'm not necessarily 100% opposed to that, since spring training games shouldn't be taken too seriously (even if the Mayor's Cup is on the line), but they could have structured their off-topic conversations around the players that were coming in and out of the game.
