how awesome it is than the best hitter in each league (Pujols and Mauer) will be on the field this series

something to watch, the Twins have played a lot of road games this month (13 so far) and they are treading water with a record of 7-6. They still have 6 more on the raod (3 in STL and 3 in KC). They played only 9 home games this month and went 5-4

My only game in St. Louis was on June 4, 1990 and it was damned cold that night. I wore shorts to the game and nearly froze to death.

Back in '99 when they were here, we had temps of 93F, 94F, and 86F. We'll beat that this time around. In '97? 85F, 91F, and 94F -- that baby's toast, too.

The Twins have pretty much sucked when it comes to playing in StL, but I'm hoping it was all due to the old stadium, and we're working with a clean slate now with New Busch.

I hope none of the climate-controlled Twins melt while they're here...
