My friend's girlfriend's roommate is the lead singer of The Poor Nobodys. Their album just came out the other week, and it's pretty dang good. Canary in a Coal Mine is a great song to get stuck in your head.

The performance is a solid 8, but New Guy's Return is at least a 12, so I gave this a composite score of 10.
** crickets **
Welp, looks like I'll just go back into hiding then.
don't even THINK about it.
This is a tasty little band, NG. Nice picks.
Yeah I like them a lot. On their Myspace page you can listen to what is probably their best song, Ghosts and Shadows. It's a fabulous track, and I could see it getting some radio play.
Shake it off, kid. It was a slow traffic day.
I thought the band was good--really good, actually. I wasn't crazy about the gurl singer, though. (Imagine that.) It might just be the acoustics at the 311.
Yeah, I'm thinking a lot of people got an early start on the holiday weekend. Only 45 posts in the CoC so far and the gamelog looks like it'll finish <200 posts today.
