 Wolves lose again by 22, Kevin Love down to 17 minutes. This is the worst possible situation for the Wolves. They are driving what is left of their fan base with a tremendous stretch of terrible basketball. Their best, or second-best, player has checked out and is getting buried on the bench. I doubt that Love is in their long term plans. How's that O.J. Mayo deal looking now? |

Personally, I am shocked, SHOCKED, to see a lineup that depends so heavily on four left-handed hitters struggling against a left-handed pitcher. Why did we depend on Delmon to be the right-handed bat to balance the lineup again?

Delmon even makes sense to have in the lineup right now. Sowers is left-handed and a "finesse" pitcher.

Well, I'm off to O'Reilly Auto to pick up some parts. I'm resurrecting our 1988 Toyota pickup that's been mothballed for more than a year. 160,000 miles, and the engine still runs like a top, but the truck bed has a bad case of oxide leprosy. Also, the spare tire holder is rusted up so bad I may just have to pick up a new spare from the junkyard and keep it in the truck bed.

On an unrelated note (and since the comments on the Wellness post are locked out), I got in a nice bike ride today, about 7 miles through Elm Creek Park. Also, since becoming unemployed, I've gone from 202 lbs. to 187. My goal is to get to down to 170 and a 34" waist, since I carry most of my fat around the middle.
