A sacrifice fly by Cedric Hunter (San Diego) scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth as the Peoria Saguaros defeated Mesa 6-5 Tuesday.
Chris Parmelee led the Solar Sox offense, going 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs. Both hits were doubles. Rene Tosoni was 1-for-4, but drove in a run and scored twice. Matt McBride (Cleveland) hit a three-run homer for Peoria.
No Twins pitchers worked in the game. The loss went to Blake Parker (Cubs), who pitched the ninth inning. The win went to Logan Ondrusek (Cincinnati), who pitched a scoreless top of the ninth.
Mesa hosts Scottsdale this afternoon.
