Oscar Salazar (San Diego) homered with two out in the bottom of the eleventh to give La Guaira a 7-6 victory over Aragua Saturday.

Aragua out-hit La Guaira 15-7. Five of the La Guaira hits were for extra bases, two of them home runs.

Dustin Martin went 4-for-5 for Aragua, including a pair of doubles, a drove in two runs. Jorge Cortes had two hits and drove in three runs. Wilson Ramos was 2-for-5.

Each team used seven pitchers. Frank Mata was the only Twin used by Aragua; he pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk. Pedro Guerra pitched two shutout innings for La Guaira. The winning pitcher was Elio Serrano. Francisco Butto took the loss.

Aragua travels to Caracas this afternoon.
