Who's hot: Steve Singleton was 4-for-11 (.364) with a double last week. For the season, he is hitting .300/.302/.440. Steve Hirschfeld pitched three scoreless innings, giving up only one hit, to lower his ERA to 11.17 in 9.2 innings. Alex Burnett pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up two walks but no hits. He now has an ERA of 4.05 in 6.2 innings.
Who's lukewarm: Rene Tosoni was 4-for-18 (.222) with a double for the week. His season numbers are .254/.338/.390 with 14 strikeouts in 59 at-bats. Spencer Steedley gave up a run in three innings over two appearances, lowering his ERA to 5.00 in nine innings.
Who's cold: Chris Parmelee was 2-for-12 (.167) for the week, though one of his hits was a triple. For the season he is hitting .245/.344/.566 with three home runs with 14 strikeouts in 53 at-bats.
Who didn't play: Mike McCardell. This appears to have simply been a fluke of the pitching rotation.
Mesa has approximately two-thirds of its schedule. The regular season ends November 19. Mesa hosts Scottsdale this afternoon.
