Ronny Cedeno (Pittsburgh) hit a three-run triple and Wilfredo Ledezma pitched five shutout innings as Aragua blanked Margarita 5-0 Wednesday.
Ex-Twin Luis Rodriguez went 4-for-4 for Aragua, and Hector Gimenez was 3-for-4. Current Twins batters made little contribution: Dustin Martin was 0-for-4 with a walk and a run, and Justin Huber was 0-for-3 and was hit by a pitch and scored. No Twins pitchers worked; Ledezma got the win.
For Margarita, William Bergolla was 2-for-4. Nic Ungs (Florida) was the losing pitcher.
The win puts Aragua once again in sole possession of fifth place and only a half-game behind fourth place Zulia. The Tigres conclude their three-game series in Margarita tonight.
