Tigres Tales

A three-run eighth gave Caribes a 5-2 victory over Aragua. Two Tigres errors led to the winning runs.

Ronny Cedeno (Pittsburgh) was the only Aragua player with two hits, going 2-for-4. The only Twins player used was Dustin Martin, who was 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. Tony Alvarez was 2-for-4 to lead Caribes.

The winning pitcher for Caribes was Carlos Vasquez. Travis Hughes got a save. Victor Moreno was charged with the loss for the Tigres.

The loss drops Aragua back to a tie for fifth with La Guaira, although the Tigres are still only a half-game out of fourth. Aragua plays a doubleheader in Caribes this evening.
