This is a style guide to help the people who write for The WGOM. It is intended to educate on the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of Wordpress and this Site.
Posting Pictures in an Article
1. I would prefer that any picture that is posted in a story be hosted on my site. Other people who host pictures pay for bandwidth. Therefore, if you link to a picture that is hosted somewhere else, you are potentially costing someone else money to show something on our site. Not only that, but if they delete or alter the picture, we are SOL. In other words, if you link to a picture of a flower, the owner of the site might get pissed off with the bandwidth stealing, change the picture and pretty soon we've got a picture of Pamela Anderson entertaining a male friend or three in a clothing forbidden party on the front page of The WGOM. An extreme example, yes, but you get the point.
2. Please align the pictures.
