Smoke 'em if you got 'em. If you thought you hated Joanna Newsom... I have always really enjoyed this song. That is all. Many a Canadians favourite Celtic-Rock Dance band. Unless it is Great Big Sea, of course. These guys look familiar... Enjoy. From his 2003 live DVD, Live in Lille, here is, one of my favorite live performers, Hawksley Workman. This guy has some pipes on him. And I don't mean that because he is wearing a sleeveless shirt. When they are on, they are on, right 6? I am sure there are cooler songs from this Dayton, Ohio 5 piece but this one will always be my favorite. I remember hearing this on "new music show" on a local radio station. The next time I went to the mall I asked them if they had this cd. They told me that had [...] Neil Young in 2008, his voice not be what it used to but it is a treat to hear this tune live nevertheless. I am gunning for the top of the charts! Those lights are really something. Oh yeah, there are only three guys in this band. Up and comers I tell you. Up. And. Comers. True rock and roll was meant to be heard in a bar on a lousy sound system. I will not be convinced otherwise. One of Buffalo's best regarded musicians who just happens to be a former roommate of mine. Here is Brian Wheat preforming on an afternoon talk show in 2008, though the footage makes it look like 1975. In the vein of the Ryan Adams style troubadour here is A.A. Bondy who played an especially lovely show Wednesday night in Buffalo, NY. I figure if this doesn't pump you up for football-- nothing will. Hey, you don't like Bright Eyes. I get it. You are a man.
